Stormy Tempest: Caress of the Moss Monster

Stormy Tempest: Caress of the Moss Monster

Season 3: Episode 2.
The perils of Stormy Tempest continue!

While exploring an alien jungle, Stormy Tempest encounters the mysterious and powerful Moss Monster. Our heroine attempts a peaceful “first contact”, but her noble intentions yield an unexpected result. Stormy is forced to desperately retreat into the jungle, but quickly discovers that she cannot hide from her relentless new adversary. The Moss Monster unleashes an array of unpredictable abilities to close in on his beautiful prey, while Stormy’s technological and psychological defenses slowly crumble. As the game of cat and mouse reaches it’s inevitable conclusion, our heroine’s fate will be decided by… the Caress of The Moss Monster.

We set aside our usual campy humor to present a suspenseful and respectful homage to the classic monsters of a bygone era. Dark. Ominous. Haunting. Erotic. The Moss Monster is here. Watch it now.

See Nicola Rae as Stormy Tempest in 1280 x 720 high-definition widescreen format!

We are offering this release in two versions. The “Damsel in Distress Extended Version” is 10 minutes longer, but that’s 10 minutes of “the good stuff” like Stormy enduring the caress of the monster, struggling while trapped in vines, being crushed by a tentacle, voyeuristic panning shots, many slow-motion scenes of Stormy being arm-carried by the creature, etc. If you’re one of our “damsels in distress” fans you’re going to LOVE it. If you’re NOT interested in that sort of thing, the “Cinematic Version” is a more action-oriented, motion picture-style presentation similar to all of our previous Stormy episodes and you’ll never noticed that the damsel in distress shots have been removed or cut down (and… it’s cheaper!). If you would like to see BOTH versions then the “Discounted Bundle, Both Versions” is for you! NOTE: You must buy the bundle upfront to get the discount. If you decide to get the alternate version later you will have to purchase it separately at full price.

Very impressive departure from the tone of some previous outings by setting a mood of actual, honest-to-goodness dread. You can really feel the whole atmosphere closing in on poor Stormy, whose technology fails her, then has her fighting skills neutralized as she is bound, and is finally tranquilized into complete submission. This really recalls “Night of the Living Dead” to me… only sexier. :) Bravo!

It also recalls, of course, those great old serials where the damsel is carried limply by the grotesque swamp/lake/bog creature… beauty and the beast!

Love season three so far. A few questions.
1. How soon until the next episode?
2. Loved the trailer at the end of thr most recent episode. Velocity Blaze looks familiar. Has she been in anything else from you?
3. Is Stormy vs velocity the last episode of season three?

Thanks! Please help us to spread the word!
1. Working on it now. Should be done later this month I think.
2. Velocity Blaze is played by Autumn Sage. Autumn also plays Rulah in our Nyoka films (one of which you can watch for free by clicking on the link at the top right of the page)
3. There are two more episodes in Season 3. Velocity Blaze is in both.

Great. Sorry for all the questions. I’m new to the site and I’m trying to catch up. So velocity blaze is a cop as well like Stormy, right. Is she different in any way. It looks like she beats the heck out of her.

CultRetro August 1, 2012 at 7:25 pm

No problem. Stormy Tempest is a good guy and a former Space Patrol Officer (a space cop), but Stormy has been branded an outlaw by the corrupt government as the result of events explained in “Stormy Tempest: Rogue Justice”.

We are about to introduce Velocity Blaze, a Space Patrol Sheriff. She also considers herself to be a good guy, though she is extremely powerful and brutal. Velocity knows nothing about the REASONS why Stormy is now an outlaw, and she doesn’t really care. From Velocity’s perspective, Stormy is just another criminal… and no criminal EVER escapes Velocity Blaze.

And yes, Velocity beats the heck out of Stormy in a vicious one-sided battle unlike anything we’ve filmed before.

No MAN can take down Stormy Tempest… but Stormy’s never faced a WOMAN like Velocity Blaze.

Could you let me know when The Moss Man(Stormy Tempest) will be available on DVD. My computer is messed up for downloading. Thanks

CultRetro August 1, 2012 at 9:47 pm

It will be a long, long time before it’s available on DVD. 6 months to a year possibly at the current pace. We have only just begun to release last year’s episodes of Stormy: Season 2 on DVD.

It is essential that customers support the downloads, which make the future DVD’s possible (though we understand that the download option may not be ideal for everyone). If the download version is (for any reason) unsuccessful, the DVD version becomes impossible or highly unlikely. Thanks for your interest!

Awesome change of pace movie! Real respect for a long gone genre is shown here. A monster chasing a beauty is so iconic yet so poorly done by the mainstream these days. Thanks Cult Retro for remembering back to a time when movies were fun.

Looks great! Stormy is always my fave. But Nyoka rocks too lol. I hope to keep seeing more of both! :) Ps. Will stormy be a giant again or some such? ;)
